Everything here is cleared for external use. Values come from the Slate and Petal design system in @mayflower-sys/theme, which is the source of truth. Where this page and a design file disagree, the theme package wins.

The lockup is a mark and a wordmark, used together by default.

  • The mark is a navy disc. On any dark surface use the inverted file, or the disc disappears into the background.
  • Keep clear space on all sides equal to the height of the disc.
  • Minimum size is 20px for the mark and 120px wide for the lockup. Below that the chevrons fill in.
  • Place the lockup on Paper, Mist, Navy 800 or Navy 900. Avoid photographs and pink surfaces.
  • Recolour the mark or the wordmark.
  • Rotate, skew, add a stroke, or apply a shadow, glow or gradient.
  • Round the disc into a different shape, or crop it.
  • Set the wordmark in a typeface other than Fraunces.
  • Change the spacing between mark and wordmark, or stack them vertically.
  • Combine the mark with another logo inside a single lockup.

The palette is closed. These are the values to use when reproducing Mayflower brand material.

  • Mayflower, one word, capital M. Never “MayFlower” or “May Flower”.
  • AVM is always all caps. It stands for Assured Value Machine. On first mention write it out, then use the acronym.
  • The AVM is a protocol primitive rather than a product. It is not “the AVM platform”.
  • Nirvana and Samsara are the products operating today. They are not former names for Mayflower and should not be written as though they were.
  • $ANA, $NIRV and $prANA carry the dollar sign only when referring to the traded asset.

One line. Mayflower builds reserve-backed markets on the Assured Value Machine, a protocol primitive that enforces a solvency invariant before any transaction executes.

Short. Mayflower builds reserve-backed markets on the Assured Value Machine (AVM), a protocol primitive that holds a reserve against every market it prices and enforces a solvency invariant before any transaction executes. Positions carry a redemption floor the protocol guarantees rather than a manager promises, and holders can draw non-recourse credit against that floor. The AVM has been running in production since 2021 under the Nirvana and Samsara brands.

The final sentence is the one to check with us before printing, since it attributes production history precisely.
